Kairos Adventure is always on the lookout for highly energetic, dedicated therapeutic adventure guides who have a passion for the outdoors and for helping teenagers. If you are interested in challenging yourself, learning, growing and contributing to the lives of teenagers, we would like to talk to you!
We want guides who:
• Desire personal and professional progression
• Enjoy supporting and encouraging other people
• Conduct themselves with integrity at all times and are comfortable promoting personal growth
and values in others
• Believe in our cause and can fully endorse the Kairos Adventure by Aspiro model
• Are motivated and energetic about contributing to the growth of a small, owner operated
company
• Can commit to a minimum of eight months to Kairos Adventure
• Are at least 20 years of age
• Can pass a drug screen as well as a criminal background check
Other desired qualifications:
• Current safety certifications (WFR, EMT, First-Aid, CPR, etc.)
• Related college degree
• Previous experience working with adolescence; especially adolescents with learning issues
• Professional outdoor experience: rafting, canoeing, mountain biking, rock climbing,
canyoneering, backpacking, snowshoeing, skiing, etc.
Kairos Adventure needs employees that can use their skills to not only provide a safe, awesome experience for the students, but also provide a therapeutic experience that will help the student learn critical life skills.
